Bruno Fernandes to Win PFA Players' Player of the Year Award Odds 2026

The PFA Players' Player of the Year is an annual award given to the best footballer in English football, voted for by the members of the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA), the players' trade union.

Bruno Fernandes heavily leads the 2025–26 PFA Players' Player of the Year market with an implied probability around 79% to 81% (priced near 2/5 or 81¢ on prediction platforms).  He is followed by Declan Rice with a 24% chance at most prediction markets.

Fernandes is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Premier League club Manchester United, which he captains, and the Portugal national team. He is widely regarded as one of the best attacking midfielders in the world.

On 16 November 2025, Fernandes scored a hat-trick in a 9–1 win over Armenia during the FIFA World Cup qualification, securing his nation's spot at the 2026 tournament in North America.

On 19 May 2026, Fernandes was selected in the 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Accolades have come from Gary Neville.  The English football pundit and former professional player picked Fernandes as his Premier League Player of the Season.

“Bruno getting level with Kevin De Bruyne and Thierry Henry puts him in the very best company.”

Neville selected Fernandes ahead of players including Rice and Gabriel.

Former footballer Owen Hargreaves was even more emphatic during the season:

“He's the best player in the Premier League.”
