SACRAMENTO, Cal (Gambling911.com) - Two six figure jackpots in one day and multiple jackpots hit over the course of a few weeks at a single Sacramento area casino.... We're talking the Thunder Valley Casino Resort, a mere 30 miles outside California's capital city.
The winnings came on Thursday with one individual claiming a $145,888.88 jackpot and the other, $112,505.58.
The second jackpot came just a few hours later, with a guest hitting a $112,505.58 progressive jackpot on a $1 denomination machine with a $25 bet. Combined, the two jackpots totaled $258,394.46.
“Apparently, one six-figure jackpot just wasn’t enough for one day,” Dawn Clayton, Chief Executive Officer of Thunder Valley Casino Resort said. “Two guests winning more than a quarter-million dollars combined within hours of each other is pretty exciting.”
Just six days prior, Gambling911.com reported on a $496,685 jackpot hit on $9 bet at the Thunder Valley Resorts Casino. That win occurred on a Smokin’ Hot Stuff slot machine.
Thunder Valley Casino Resort has paid more than 251,000 jackpots over the past year, according to the property.
The casino is complete with 3,500 slot machines and 89 table games, with high-limit and poker options.
