OAKLAND PARK, Fla (Gambling911.com) - Alabama vs. Washington is our second game of the 2026 Little League World Series tournament. BetOnline for the first time ever is offering player prop bets as well as odds for each of this year's matches.
Both these teams are seen as having legitimate pitching with Alabama having one of the most talked-about players in Williamsport this year, Kinley Rasmus (#16, P/SS).
She was exceptional during regional play. Rasmus went 6-for-8 (.750) with four walks, four runs and two RBIs, while also dominating as a pitcher. She appeared in three of Alabama's four regional games without allowing a run. In the championship game against Tennessee, she threw a complete-game shutout, striking out eight and allowing only three hits as Alabama won 4-0.
There's also a remarkable baseball pedigree. Kinley is the daughter of former MLB pitcher Cory Rasmus and niece of former MLB outfielder Colby Rasmus. BetOnline made headlines this week after releasing prop bets on Rasmus.
The matchup is Phenix City Youth Baseball LL (Alabama/Southeast) vs. Soundview LL (Tacoma, Washington/Northwest) at 3 p.m. ET today, August 19, at Lamade Stadium on ESPN. Alabama went 4-0 at the Southeast Regional; Washington went 3-1 in the Northwest Regional.
Betting on this year's Little League World Series is not without controversy.
The Little League World Series issued the following statement to Gambling911.com:
"Little League International stands by its statement first issued last year that there is no place for betting on Little League games and players or any youth sports competition. Little League is a trusted place where children are learning the fundamentals of the games and all the important life lessons that come with having fun, celebrating teamwork, and playing with integrity, and no one should be exploiting the success and failures of children playing the game they love for their own personal gain."
"We're not here to say whether gambling on 10-, 11- and 12-year-olds is right or wrong, that's up for you to decide (and possibly write about), we're just delivering the information," BetOnline Brand Manager Dave Mason tells Gambling911.com.
