Ohio vs. Texas Little League World Series Betting Odds August 24

OAKLAND PARK, Fla (Gambling911.com) - The Little League World Series game between Ohio and Texas has Ohio paying around $210 for every $100 bet with a win against the nearly -300 favorites Texas Monday at 3 pm EDT.

Game: Hamilton, Ohio vs. Boerne, Texas
Regions: Great Lakes vs. Southwest
Time: 3:00 p.m. ET
Venue: Lamade Stadium
TV: ESPN
Stakes: Loser is eliminated.

Ohio is represented by West Side Little League of Hamilton. It lost a heartbreaker 6-5 to Henderson, Nevada in its opener but responded by absolutely dismantling Massachusetts 10-0 in four innings Saturday.

Leo Feltner — 3B/SS/P is considered Ohio's biggest threat.  Little League lists him as a third baseman/shortstop/pitcher after he closed out the no-hitter against Massachusetts and also doubled home a run.

Boerne Texas' opening 4-3 loss to Tacoma, Washington was extremely close.

Texas fell behind 2-0, fought back to tie it and then trailed 4-2. Boerne made it 4-3 and eventually loaded the bases with nobody out in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Case Greco hit an extraordinary .750 during the Southwest Regional. He's also one of the biggest players on the Boerne roster at 5-foot-8 and can pitch.

Betting on this year's Little League World Series is not without its controversy.

The Little League World Series issued the following statement to Gambling911.com:

"Little League International stands by its statement first issued last year that there is no place for betting on Little League games and players or any youth sports competition. Little League is a trusted place where children are learning the fundamentals of the games and all the important life lessons that come with having fun, celebrating teamwork, and playing with integrity, and no one should be exploiting the success and failures of children playing the game they love for their own personal gain."

"We're not here to say whether gambling on 10-, 11- and 12-year-olds is right or wrong, that's up for you to decide (and possibly write about), we're just delivering the information," BetOnline Brand Manager Dave Mason tells Gambling911.com.
