President Donald Trump brushed off questions Monday regarding a potential 2028 presidential bid by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, calling it "very early to talk about that."
Vegas doesn't think Hegseth has an inkling of a chance to pull off an upset and become POTUS in 2028.
As you can see below, Hegseth is last on the list. His 150/1 odds equate to exactly a 0.7% implied probability of victory.
There are candidates with longer odds at BetOnline.ag, but Hegseth is currently on par with people like RFK, Mark Cuban and Erika Kirk.
Since this story hit the news cycle, BetOnline reports that it hasn’t received a single wager on Hegseth.
