Zverev has won 25 ATP Tour singles titles, including the 2026 French Open, a gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and the 2018 and 2021 ATP Finals. He won 6-2, 7-5, 6-1 over Botic van de Zandschulp in the quarterfinals of the US Open on Wednesday.
Khachanov is a Russian professional tennis player. He has been ranked by the Association of Tennis Professionals as high as world No. 8 in singles, which he achieved on 15 July 2019, and No. 53 in doubles, attained on 29 January 2024.
Khachanov won 6-2, 7-5, 3-2 over Alexander Blockx in the quarterfinals of the US Open on Wednesday.
He was rolling past the No. 28 seed from Belgium when the retirement occurred in the third set after one hour and 38 minutes on court. The win sends the 30-year-old Russian into the third major semifinal of his career.
