While wide receiver Harris didn't get a lot of volume, he made it count. He caught 2 passes on 4 targets for 61 yards and 1 touchdown, averaging 30.5 yards per catch. His big play was a 48-yard TD from John Mateer in the third quarter of Oklahoma's 51-0 victory over UTEP. Both of his receptions produced first downs.

“(He’s brought) a lot of leadership … presence,” Mateer said of Harris. “He's going to do the right things, and he's going to teach. He's going to be in the right spots and communicate with me, and I appreciate that. He cares so much about this team and (the) opportunity within this team.”

Sategna III was one of Oklahoma's biggest stars of the opener. Sategna caught 4 passes for 76 yards and 1 TD, including a 34-yard touchdown reception from Mateer. He took a punt 88 yards for a touchdown.

Sategna III finished with a career-high 215 all-purpose yards: 76 receiving, 115 on punt returns and 24 on a kickoff return. That performance earned him SEC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Marsh caught 2 passes for 15 yards, averaging 7.5 yards per catch, with a long reception of 11 and no touchdown.
