Benjamin 'Ben' Rolle Accused of Renigging on $1297 for Raise Your Edge Poker Course

OAKLAND PARK, Fla (Gambling911.com) - A popular poker player has Brought to light a poker course that promised "life time updates" for $1297, then reneged upon it and blocked people.

Todd Witteles certainly has the credibility to Question Benjamin “Ben” Rolle, a prominent German professional poker player, coach and poker entrepreneur.  His course was called "Raise Your Edge".

Rolle is widely regarded as one of the most successful online tournament players and respected coaches in the poker industry. His flagship program, the Tournament Masterclass, is well-known in the community, and pricing for premium poker courses frequently falls within the $1,000 to $1,500 range.

Another poker player named Joe explained the controversy prior to Witteles bringing it to light.

"TMC was the Tournament MasterClass. The deal was "Pay $1297 and get lifetime updates" meaning it's a living course and new concepts going forward will be put into the class. He did that for a few years, then stopped updating it and created TMC 2.0 behind a subscription paywall."

Tuart Onkhouse concurred.

"i rushed out to buy cause I couldnt afford yearly was good info but stopped updating ever since new yearly model came out I check back dont see new content."

While Witteles  is a highly respected WSOP bracelet winner and professional cash game player, he is best known in the poker community as the founder and host of PokerFraudAlert.com. Rather than structured video modules, his strategy advice, game selection theory, and industry insights are shared through alternative mediums.

Joe appreciated Witteles involvement in the matter.

"Thanks for helping expose this.  I feel foolish for falling for "Lifetime updates" when I guess the fine print that nobody reads says it's "Lifetime product updates" The legal loophole exploited.  Here's an ad from another site posting their ad. And of course I'm blocked."

JR had this to say:

"I believe nobody here denies that @bencb789 is a legend for being who he is in the Poker world and I have high respect for him. But the point have been made in OP's post.  Regardless that majority of the users are happy, and Ben have been updating the course for 8 years, he still made too big of a promise which he/ his team/ or for whatever reasons are having a hard time to keep according to the OP. There will always be people okay with it, and vice versa.

"Things like this are not looking good for him personally, the brand and also any entities that he's representing. If there are just a few who are unhappy, the correct remedy is just contact the few, talk it out, and just make something work for them and keep them happy."

Witteles offered the best option for resolving this issue:
·
"The solution is simple.  If he doesn't want to maintain an old product with highly promoted "lifetime updates", just give those people access to the new product.

"Retiring that so you can make fresh money from the same "lifetime" purchasers is a lot of bullshit."
