100 Percent Tax Deduction for Gambling Losses Bill Passes Out of Committee .... But Congress Sent Home Until After Midterms?

The House Ways and Means Committee approved the Digital Asset Tax Certainty Act containing the provision restoring the gambling-loss deduction to 100%. Unfortunately Congress will have probably a little over a month to act on it as congress won't return to town until after the Midterm elections. We also suspect they'll be heading home around the 20th of December. They only have until January 1 to get this done for the new tax filing year.

More Layoffs Anticipated at VSiN as Rumors Swirl Over Possible Change in Ownership Coming

Gambling911.com has been reporting on staff cuts at the gambling network VSiN in recent days with at least three on-air personalities cut loose or on their way out. Rumors are swirling of potential new ownership coming to VSiN. Meanwhile, we are learning that Joe Ceraulo (host, Cashing Out), James Coleman (creative services, since 2022), Matt Deutsch (programming, since 2024) are also heading for the door.
