JERSEY CITY, NJ – (Gambling911.com) - Everybody loves "Game of Thrones". Now those casino gamblers in four US states will finally have the opportunity to play the Game of Thrones™ online slot for real money from the comfort of their own home, office, the train or where ever they like.
Play poker, casino games and bet sports with one account
Warner Bros. Discovery Experiences, Blueprint Gaming and BetMGM announced the U.S. launch of the slot game on Wednesday following a record-breaking debut in Canada.
Game of Thrones™ is available on BetMGM Casino in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and West Virginia and also at Borgata Online in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. These are the only four states where BetMGM is regulated to offer online casino gaming. Delaware, Connecticut and Rhode Island are the only other U.S. states that regulate i-Gaming, however, BetMGM does not accept customers from these three states. Maine is set to begin regulating internet casinos in the coming months.
Developed by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences in partnership with Blueprint Gaming, Game of Thrones™ adapts the setting and storylines of the acclaimed Emmy Award-winning HBO series into a slot built around modern player preferences. The title is available in North America through White Hat Studios' House of Brands portfolio, which brings leading content from Blueprint and other acclaimed studios to regulated U.S. markets.
Game of Thrones™ debuted in Ontario at BetMGM Casino in April and set records across various metrics. Since the launch of legalized iGaming in Alberta in mid-July, Game of Thrones™ has continued its momentum, resonating strongly with players and emerging as one of BetMGM Casino's top-performing games in the province. Eilers & Krejcik Gaming ranked Game of Thrones™ fifth among Canada's top-performing new online casino game launches. Its success underscores the appeal of White Hat Studios' premium branded content strategy, which combines globally recognized entertainment franchises with engaging gameplay experiences.
“At Blueprint Gaming, we're focused on bringing some of the world's most recognizable entertainment brands to players through our House of Brands portfolio, and Game of Thrones™ is one of our most ambitious launches to date,” said Charlie Jacka, Product Director at Blueprint Gaming. “The game captures the iconic characters, the soundtrack and world of Westeros while delivering a highly engaging slot experience. We're thrilled to bring this experience to U.S. players."
