Shedeur Sanders Next Team Odds as Trade Rumors Increase, New Agent Hired

CLEVELAND (Gambling911.com) - Shedeur Sanders trade speculation began heating up Wednesday following reports that the Browns quarterback has signed with Adie von Gontard, CEO of Young Money APAA Sports, to represent him.   So which teams might he land with should a trade take place?  Let's take a look.

Sanders previously did not have an agent, going through the NFL Draft and the first part of his career self-represented.

Sanders has only played one snap for the 3-2 Browns this season, after losing the starting quarterback competition to Deshaun Watson.

From Jason Burgos of Sportsnaught

If Sanders did request that the Browns trade him — which is still a big if but a very possible one — what teams would actually be interested in acquiring the 2025 fifth-round pick? Because he was a later-round selection that lost the starting job to Watson, Cleveland can’t expect much back in a trade.

However, because he is only making a couple million the next two years, trading him won’t give them a lot of cash savings. If he wanted out, the Browns don’t have to move him. But having a malcontent in the locker room during a season that has been positive thus far would be a major concern.

Since the trade cost won’t be high, it would not be surprising if teams like the Arizona Cardinals, Indianapolis Colts, and Houston Texans showed interest because they aren’t thrilled with their starting and/or backup QB situations.

Likely Teams to Land Shedeur Sanders (Early Betting Markets)

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Potential short-term fit following an injury to Baker Mayfield.
  • Miami Dolphins: Looking for future quarterback options as the team navigates early-season struggles.
  • Arizona Cardinals: Evaluating long-term quarterback directions post-roster adjustments.
  • Cleveland Browns: Current team (signed through 2028), though beat reporters have noted the front office's preference to keep their quarterback depth intact despite the rumors.

We should expect to see odds at BetOnline shortly.
