OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (Gambling911.com) - A player posting in Reddit's r/DailyCashList community complained that a large redemption had been pending for nearly two weeks. Others chimed in and a closer review by Gambling911.com found discouraged customers promised "instant" redemptions, but instead were waiting upwards of two weeks. Isolated cases? Perhaps. Let's take a look.
RichSweeps operates as a sweepstakes casino using a dual currency system.
Unlike a real money online casino, sweepstakes - or social casinos - is an online platform that allows users to play casino-style games, including slots, bingo, table games, and even live casino games, using virtual currency instead of real money. These types of online casinos rely on additional real money purchases once the free play component is exhausted. In contrast, real money online casinos require a small deposit that can be increased through wins. Free play and cash bonuses are typically offered as well.
The player alleged that customer support repeatedly said the compliance team was reviewing the request without providing a resolution.
Another participant reported experiencing the same issue, also approaching two weeks.
From Reddit:
"Has anybody tried to redeem a large amount from Richsweeps? I’ve been waiting almost 2 weeks for a large amount. They keep giving me the same run around. “The compliance team is looking into it”. I am on them everyday. Please leave answers!"
Another individual responded:
"I’m going through the same thing. Week 2 here for me as well. The chat agent s say the same thing every time. Ive also email the support email and nothing."
Another offered a possible solution.
"Had similar issue. I had to break my redemption down into multiple $100 withdrawals and they processed pretty much instantly."
Melanie on TrustPilot offered a similar experience.
"Payouts are not instant as advertised. I have been able to cash out up to a few hundred dollars in the past but I won a $1600 jackpot and my redemption request pended for weeks then failed. I tried to withdraw my balance a little at a time and even when I submit $100 redemption request it pends for days and often fails and I have to request it again. I've been able to get about half of my balance $100 at a time over the past 6 weeks but I'm still fighting to get the rest out. Customer support inquiries or tickets sent to the compliance team are useless. It shouldn't be this hard or take this long to cash out winnings."
And in August, Rueben Edwards had this to say:
"I cashed out multiple times and it was instant but this specific time for $300 is taking long for some “security checks” I am not sure why it should take multiple days when I redeemed multiple times and it was instant. Support@richsweeps.com Hasnt responded to a single email ive only been talking to chat support and they are saying please be patient. But isnt this a instant casino? Is richsweeps trustworthy? I will update this if I recieve my payment. I submitted a request on 8/23 still no update."
Redemptions do appear to eventually show up.
One individual on TrustPilot said they finally got theirs after 14 days. RichSweeps also apologized for the delay.
And another, Elizabeth, provided this:
"Update: after sending everything besides a vile of blood, my redemption was process and released within 20 minutes. It took a while i lost some of what i was redeeming but finally came through! As of today. Beware of the instant redemption ive been waiting. 5 days now and they just keep saying that are working on it, no update nothing once this clears i wont play on this platform again just not worth the wait. Its not been more than 5 days, i have reached out multiple way and still waiting for compliance to review this. This is the first platform i have had an issue with and redeemed from many other sc platforms its now the 12th and they still are having issues, i ended up playing some of my winnings back so im sure this process started over and i have sent everything requested of me."
On a brighter note, RichSweeps tends to get mostly positive reviews outside of these recent redemption complaints. Reviewers frequently mention a large game selection, responsive live support and fast redemptions. Several report receiving winnings almost immediately, including one reviewer who described receiving approximately 300 Sweeps Coins.
