The Washington State Receiver (the firm of Graham & Dunn) is finally beginning the monetization of the Bodog domain names seized just over a year ago in a bitter patent dispute. The Bodog.com domain name had been taken down from the Web following that company's refusal to answer the complaint in a US Court.

The first of these is an auction (the "Lot 1 Auction") which started today of 85 of the domain names (being sold as a lot not individually) on eBay with a starting price (minimum price) of $5000 -- the auction will last five days and the highest bidder (above the minimum bid) to have confirmed funds with the Receiver will get the Lot 1 domain names.

There will be additional future auctions, which I will also inform you about.

The 85 domain names include such names as:

bodogfight.info

bodogparty.org

thankgodforfootball.org

calvinaryeblog.org

calvinayrefoundation.biz

bodogbattleofthebands.biz

Here is the information on the eBay Lot 1 Auction:

Item Number: 270276519124

Item Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270276519124

Listing Name: Receiver Lot 1 Auction - Bodog Entertainment

Bodog itself has been struggling in recent months following loss of payment processing platforms and an inability to incorporate new one's.
