Global Poker Extends Sweeps Coin Expiration Period From 60 to 90 Days

OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (Gambling911.com) - Global Poker's extension of its Sweeps Coin expiration period from 60 to 90 days means players now have an additional 30 days of account inactivity before their unused Sweeps Coins automatically expire. The change appears in Global Poker's updated Terms and Conditions, version 30.0, dated October 30, 2026.

Unlike a real money online poker room such as ACR Poker, sweepstakes - or social casinos/poker sites - are online platforms that allows users to play casino-style games, including slots, bingo, table games, and even live casino games, using virtual currency instead of real money.   These types of online casinos rely on additional real money purchases once the free play component is exhausted.  In contrast, real money online casinos require a small deposit that can be increased through wins.  Free play and cash bonuses are typically offered as well.

Suppose a player has 100 Sweeps Coins remaining and last logged into Global Poker on November 1.

- Under the old rule: Those coins would expire after 60 days without logging in, around December 31.
- Under the new rule: They wouldn't expire until approximately January 30, 2027, assuming the account remains inactive.

The key point is that the expiration period is tied to the player's last login, not necessarily the date the Sweeps Coins were awarded.

The timing is noteworthy.

On October 30, Global Poker also updated its terms to exclude Oklahoma residents from sweepstakes participation, ahead of the state's November 1 restrictions.

However, the 90-day expiration change applies across Global Poker's eligible markets, not just Oklahoma..

Global Poker is the largest of the online sweepstakes poker rooms.  Its sister sites include Chuba and LuckyLand.

How Mystery PKOs Work

Mystery PKO is a new format exclusive to our network that combines hidden mystery prizes with growing progressive bounties.

Starting on Day 2, each knockout reveals a mystery prize. Half goes straight to your account, while the other half is added to the visible bounty on your head.

For example: Find the $100,000 top mystery bounty and pocket $50,000 immediately. The other $50,000 becomes part of your progressive bounty. Great news, right up until everybody notices.

Any accumulated progressive bounty on the player you knock out gets the same treatment: half is paid to you immediately, and half is added to your own bounty.

The biggest mystery prize might be revealed. That doesn’t mean the chase is over.
