Do you want to win money playing poker, but don't want to invest the time or effort needed to become an experienced pro?

A New York City magic shop has something for you--DVDs that teach you how to cheat at cards!

Tannen's magic shop (www.tannens.com), which claims to be the largest magic shop in the world, carries a wide variety of magic supplies, including close-up magic tricks, stage illusions, magic memorabilia, books and DVDs.

Among the DVDs sold by the shop and advertised on its website are four that teach you how to cheat at cards--one is general instruction on how to cheat at poker, a second is specific instruction on how to cheat at Texas hold 'em, a third is instruction on how to cheat at blackjack and a fourth is instruction on general all-around card-cheating.

A description on the website of the DVD titled "Cheating at Poker" says the DVD, "...demonstrates and explains many sleight-of-hand techniques that are used to cheat at poker. You will learn about false shuffles, false dealing, peeking at cards, switching cards, marking cards, controlling cards during shuffles, bend work, culling discards, crimping, palming, cold decking, false cuts, daub work, nullifying cuts, holding out and much more.

"Each subject is further covered with demonstrations and discussions about related variations and techniques. This is a crash course in what is possible at the poker table. Sold for educational and entertainment purposes only. Millions of dollars are lost every year to card cheaters and we recommend that anyone who plays poker be familiar with these techniques in order to protect themselves."

The DVD sells for $19.95.

A description on the website of the DVD titled "Cheating at Hold 'em" says the DVD, "...will give you the edge you need to protect yourself at the poker table. You'll quickly have the knowledge you need to prevent hustlers from scamming you, in any easy-to-understand format that is both fun and entertaining. The best players in the world cannot overcome the advantage a cheater enjoys, and there are dozens of ways your game and your bankroll can be compromised.

"When it comes to dealing with cheating at the poker table, the knowledge in 'Cheating at Hold 'em' is your only protection. You will, in just a few short minutes, become a far more sophisticated player, a player who's informed, alert and up-to-date. This knowledge base will enable you to protect yourself and level the playing field whenever and wherever you play, whether in a casino tournament, table stakes game or a friendly home game."

The DVD sells for $35.
