Uruguay looked impressive in the first round in the 2010 World Cup, winning Group A, while South Korea advanced by finishing second in Group B.
The Uruguay-South Korea match will be followed by the game that will get most of the attention this weekend, as the USA team takes on Ghana (2:30 pm ET, ABC).

In their final first-round game Wednesday, the United States looked like it was headed toward a draw against Algeria, until Landon Donovan scored a rebound goal in the 91st minute to give the Americans the win. Instead of going home, team USA won its group for the first time since 1930.
Ghana, meanwhile, takes on the U.S. for the second consecutive World Cup. In 2006, Ghana, making its first-ever World Cup appearance, beat the United States 2-1.

After a rough start, including an opening-game draw against the U.S., England picked up their first win Wednesday against Slovenia. Germany won Group D and is in Stage 2 for the 15th-straight World Cup.
The final match this weekend has Argentina against Mexico on Sunday (2:30 pm ET, ABC).
Argentina is one of the favorites to win the World Cup at +400 while Mexico is at +6000.
This marks the second-straight World Cup in which Argentina and Mexico will square off in the first game of the round of 16. In 2006, Argentina knocked Mexico out of the tournament with a 2-1 win.
