The Advertising Standards Authority or ASA has continuously cracked down on advertisements it finds offensive, dangerous or otherwise misleading. In the case of the latest ad from Bet365.com, the ASA has deemed it “dangerous” AND “misleading”. The ad in question is one that promotes a Free £200 Bet that is not actually FREE. “Customers would have to stake a large sum of money first then wait forever to collect after certain ridiculous conditions are met,” explains Payton O’Brien, Senior Editor of the Gambling911.com website. “And that’s just plain wrong.” The Bet365 ad has been banned.
