Gambling911.com has learned that the home of well known sports handicapper Ted Sevransky has gone into foreclosure

Sevransky is a Vegas handicapper who has been interviewed by the New York Times in the past and is quoted heavlly in media.  He is the “house tout” for WhoCovers.com as well as some other sites.  Sevransky has also made a name for himself on the AM radio sports shows.

“Apparently his capping has gone south with the economy,” commented Gambling911.com’s Thomas Somach.

Vegas in particular has been hit hard by the foreclosure crisis.

Sevransky is not the first big name in the gambling sector who has had to deal with foreclosure.

2010 World Series of Poker finalist Michael Mizrachi lost his Hollywood, Florida home a few months prior to his big wins on the poker tournament circuit.

Mizrachi has actually won close to $2 million since the foreclosure story first broke and he is due at least another million dollars from his WSOP final table appearance come November.
