The West Virginia Mountaineers football team is getting all the love Friday night in their game against Marshall.  As a -13 road favorite, nearly 95 percent of the betting public was on West Virginia in this game.

BetEd.com, which was offering up to $250 FREE CASH to new depositors coming into Week 1 of the 2010 NFL season, had dropped the line to -12 ½ throughout much of Thursday.  For a two hour period on Monday, the line had moved up to -14.

West Virginia has absolutely pummeled Marshall in the last four head-to-head matchups since 2006.  Three of those were home games for the Mountaineers football team Gambling911.com should note.

Marshall returns 14 starters from a team that went 7-6 last season.

16 starters return from last year’s 9-4 Mountaineers team.

Remember, this one goes off at 7 pm EST Friday night.

A startling trend to consider when looking at those -13 point road odds, the Mountaineers are 11-0 ATS in their last 11 road games vs. a team with a losing home record.  That stat, however, is offset by the fact that the Thundering Herd are 10-1-1 ATS in their last 12 home games vs. a team with a winning road record.  They are also 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a SU loss of more than 20 points.
