Looking at the Colts – Texans Week 1 spread, Gambling911.com has found there were four different lines being offered depending on the sportsbook.

“Obviously that presents a bit of a middling opportunity,” points out sports reporter Don Shapiro.

BetUS.com, for example, was one of the few online sportsbooks offering a line of Indianapolis -1.  The majority of Vegas bookmakers were offering a line of -2 ½.

“You could bet the Colts at -1 and wager on the Texans at +2 ½ to win with both sides if the game were to fall on the ‘2’ for Indianapolis,” Shapiro points out.

It hasn’t happened in this series yet, but Indianapolis has beaten Houston by 3 and 4 points in the past.

Most of the Gambling911.com sponsored online sportsbooks were offering a line of -2 in this game.

Because Indianapolis was getting more than 90 percent of the action, one or more of the Gambling911.com endorsed online sportsbooks could move to Houston +2 ½ prior to game time 1 pm EST.

The Colts – Texans spread has been fluid since opening at Indianapolis -3 two months ago.  The online bookmakers seem inclined to get everyone betting on the Colts here.  Maybe they know something we don’t and Houston finally steals one away from Indianapolis.  They have one of the most potent quarterbacks in the league in Matt Schaub.
