The Kansas City Chiefs were virtually ignored coming into this season as 8/1 long shots to win the 2010 AFC West.  Following an impressive win over the San Diego Chargers last Monday night, BetUS.com has slashed those odds in half.

4/1 odds are still a value all things considered,” remarked Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

Following Week 1 play, the Chiefs sit atop this division with a 1-0 record.  All three of the other AFC West teams lost their respective games during Week 1.

Probably one of the most impressive wins of the Week, Stats Inc. points out that Kansas City used big plays on special teams and in the running game to come out victorious.

And now they have a real chance of going 2-0 this week with a road game against a subpar Cleveland Browns team.

From Stats Inc:

Kansas City Chiefs Still Pay 4/1 in AFC WestThe new staff in Kansas City, specifically defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel, had a great game plan against the San Diego Chargers in the late MNF matchup of Week 1. Now, they must prepare for the Browns on a short week; no one is confusing the Browns' offense with the Chargers', but it still has playmakers.

AFC West Odds at BetUS.comwere as follows:

The Chargers were still the favorites at -300

The Broncos were at 9/1

The Raiders were at 12/1

Remember, BetUS.com also had updated 2011 Super Bowl odds up.  Use your credit card to place a bet online and receive a FREE CASH BONUS up to 65 percent of your initial bet or the amount you open up your account with.
