Delaware Republican Senate Nominee Christine O'Donnell a Witch?

Christine O'Donnell

Here at Gambling911.com we love our political scandals and a good Christine O’Donnell witch story just in time for Halloween is certainly no exception.

Just yesterday we reported on how the primary legislator for online poker lobbyists in California, Roderick Wright, had been indicted on 8 charges including voter fraud.  He is also the scheduled key note speaker for the European iGaming Congress and Expo to be held in Barcelona, Spain next month.  Good grief.

Now we learn that Delaware Republican Senate nominee and Tea Party fav Christine O’Donnell admitted to dabbling in witchcraft.  We suppose she might be able to help the Republican party sweep those dastardly Dems out of office (my attempt at a very bad joke).

Delaware is near and dear to our hearts here since it is the first state to try – and fail – to legalize sports betting on the East Coast.  New Jersey is still trying and is expected to be more successful.  Hopefully O’Donnell doesn’t cast her magic wand over that state’s efforts since we presume she would be against legalization.

Then again, what Republican do you know who actually admits to being a witch?

As a Hindu, I don’t judge others and their beliefs, as ridiculous as they might be.  The United State doesn’t need another witch in Wachington.  We already have Michele Bachmann.  Just kidding.  Just kidding.  Let's not give the Democrats - and a few of those moderate Republicans - more reason than they already have to burn this woman at the stake.

Anyway,

O’Donnell admitted in an unaired segment of Bill Maher's "Politically Incorrect”:

"I dabbled into witchcraft -- I never joined a coven. But I did, I did. I dabbled into witchcraft. I hung around people who were doing these things. I'm not making this stuff up. I know what they told me they do," she said.

"One of my first dates with a witch was on a satanic altar, and I didn't know it. I mean, there's little blood there and stuff like that," she said. "We went to a movie and then had a midnight picnic on a satanic altar."

I wonder what they had at their picnic.  Deviled eggs?

At least we know she didn’t go home and masturbate following her picnic on the bloody altar.  She also told Maher she’s against such self-pollution.

As we approach November, Sportsbook.com is expected to be releasing odds on the most competitive Senate campaigns.  For now you can bet on the 2012 Presidential race here.
