Miami Dolphins vs. Minnesota Vikings odds opened at Vikings -6.  There has only been a half point line move to -5 ½ at BetED.com this week (note to readers, BetED.com is still giving away up to $250 in free cash to new signups – see site for details).  The Vikings were still getting over 70 percent of the action in this game.  This matchup was not getting a significant amount of volume, however, compared to other games.

The last time these two teams met in 2006, the Dolphins won at home by 4 points.  Miami comes into this game having won in Buffalo during Week 1, which may not be saying much.  Minnesota lost on the road to the reigning Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints in a hard fought battle.

Some important Miami Dolphins vs. Minnesota Vikings odds trends to consider before betting on this game include:

The Dolphins are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 road games.

The Dolphins are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games after allowing less than 15 points in their previous game.

Gambling911.com is starting to publish more month-relevant stats this season and, with that said, Miami is 2-10-2 ATS in their last 14 games in September.

The Vikings are 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 home games.

More importantly perhaps, they are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games following a S.U. loss.
