The Oregon State vs. Boise State spread opened at Broncos -16 ½ and quickly moved to -17 ½ at BetUS.com and just about everywhere else for that matter.  Gambling911.com has observed that there is balanced action coming in on both sides as of Thursday afternoon.

This one promises to be one of the most wagered on games of Week 4 in College Football.  Looking at the spread variance it is somewhat surprising to realize that both teams here are ranked.  It’s just that Boise State is the number 3 ranked team in the nation compared to Oregon State at number 24.

ESPN.com’s Scout’s Edge gives this one to Boise State, but not by the current spread.

The Rodgers brothers are tough competitors who can go the distance every time they touch the ball, but their contributions won't be enough to overcome Katz's inexperience and the Beavers' problems stopping the run. Boise State will load up against the run and force Katz to move the offense with his arm, and while he's talented enough to make some plays, he won't be consistent enough for Oregon State to keep pace with the Broncos. Meanwhile, Boise State's ground game will set up the play-action package and keep its active defense well rested as the game wears on. In addition, the Broncos understand that a convincing win against a Pac-10 opponent will help deflect some of the criticism of their schedule and mitigate some of the effect Virginia Tech's loss to James Madison had on Boise State's BCS title game chances.

If you are looking for more than just the Oregon State vs. Boise State spread, keep in mind you can still bet on either of these two team’s chances of winning the 2011 BCS Championship title at BetUS.com (you can also bet on who will win the Heisman Trophy)

Boise State would pay $500 on a $100 bet.  Oregon State would pay out $40,000!!!
