The Kansas City Chiefs odds to win the AFC West have been slashed to 2/1 following a surprise 3-0 start to the 2010 NFL regular season.  They stunned San Francisco at home this past week.

Some impressive facts regarding the Kansas City Chiefs. They only won six games over the last two seasons but are now 3-0 for the first time since 2003 when it started 9-0.

Rookies Dexter McCluster and Tony Moeaki both had TD receptions in this past weekend’s dismantling of the San Francisco 49ers, the second time this season McCluster and Moeaki both scored in the same game.

"It was a great day for the Chiefs," linebacker Derrick Johnson said. "Each win, we're getting more and more confident."

The Raiders, Chargers and Broncos all lost their respective games during Week 3, giving the Chiefs plenty of cushion in the AFC West.

The Chiefs enjoy an early bye during Week 4.

Other odds to win the AFC West:

The San Diego Chargers were the big early favorites.  They are still listed with very short odds of -175, hardly worth the price at this time.

Oakland has odds of 20/1.

Denver has odds of 12/1
