Odds on Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler
BetOnline opened Conor McGregor as a -150 favorite vs. Michael Chandler at +130, but 95% of the early wagers came in on Chandler at +130 so the odds have moved closer to a pick ‘em as a result.
The former two-division champion McGregor announced Sunday that his long-awaited matchup against Chandler is slated for June 29 as part of the UFC’s annual International Fight.
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion believes a welterweight match makes the most sense, though neighter men have fought in this class.
“It’s happening at 185,” Cormier said on his ESPN show “DC & RC.” “It shouldn’t happen there. I agree that it doesn’t have the meaning that it should have (at lightweight). But I still believe it does because I believe that Conor McGregor is just going to make Michael Chandler do whatever he wants. And if that means fighting at a weight class he’s never fought at, that he doesn’t feel comfortable at, that’s what he’s going to do because he feels like it’s going to be in his favor.”
Another fighter has been faded even more than McGregor…Leon Edwards.
The current champ announced that he’ll defend his title at UFC 300 with the opponent TBD. Since Shavkat Rakhmonov is injured, everyone expects Belal Muhammad will be the guy.
Edwards- Muhammad odds opened back on December 17 and have shifted significantly as you can see below.
