Michael Phelps Still 1-5 Favorite to Win London Olympics 200m Butterfly Despite Poor Showing
With Michael Phelps still listed as a 1-5 favorite to win the Olympics London 200m Butterfly following an unusually slow start, there could be plenty of value on the other Olympic contenders to win gold in this event at Bookmaker.eu.
Phelps barely qualified in the 400-meter individual medley while Olympic champion Park Tae-hwan found himself disqualified and world record-holder Paul Biedermann failed to make the final.
"The only thing that matters is just getting a spot in," Phelps said after finishing his 400 IM heat in 4 minutes, 13.33 seconds with a time that was well off his world record of 4:03.84 set four years ago in Beijing. "You can't win the gold medal from the morning."
Percentages represent the number of bets placed on each side of any give
+400 would mean that a $10 bet pays out $40, a $100 bet pays $400.
+1000 would mean that a $10 bet pays out $100, a $100 bet pays $1000.
