The Men's 60 kg and Women's 48 kg Judo odds to win gold at the Paris Olympics have Natsumi Tsunoda (JAP) to win the Women's 48 kg at -160 odds and Ryuja Nagayama (JPN) to win the Men's 60 kg at +145 odds.

Tsunoda won the gold medal in the women's 48 kg event at the 2021 World Judo Championships held in Budapest, Hungary as well as the gold medal in this event in 2022 and 2023.

Nagayama participated at the 2018  and 2019 World Championships, winning bronze medals in both.
