What Are The Odds to Win - Women's C1 Gold Medal - Canoeing - Paris Olympics
Just like with the K1 Canoeing event, Jessica Fox of Australia comes into the C1 Canoeing event as the favorite to win gold.
Jessica Fox (AUS) was listed as the -160 favorite in this one.
Fox first qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, where she made her Olympic debut at 18 years of age, winning a silver medal in the K1 event. She won a bronze medal in the same event four years later in Rio de Janeiro, and again at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics. She won gold at the 2020 Olympics in the C1 event, becoming the first Olympic champion in that event.
In June, she became the first athlete to win three individual gold medals over a single weekend at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup event in Kraków, Poland.
Mallory Franklin (GBR) promises a payout of US$430 for every US$100 bet to win gold in this event.
Franklin has won 18 medals total including silver at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the Women's C1 event. She is a seven-time World and seven-time European champion, with much of her success realized in team events.
