BMX Freestyle gold for both the men and women will be rewarded in Paris on Wednesday.

The men's competition has three cyclists with single digit odds:

Logan Martin (AUS)
+165
Anthony Jeanjean (FRA)
+170
Keiran Reilly (GBR)
+430

In 2021, Martin won the gold medal in the inaugural Men's BMX freestyle event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. He would pay out $165 for every $100 bet to win this event.

Martin finished 17th in the men’s BMX Freestyle Park qualification in Budapest last month.

Martin scored 69.92 in his first run after a fall in the final seconds. He made another mistake on the same course feature in the second run, scoring 72.16 points.

"Definitely bummed," the Olympic champion said after. "It's definitely not what I planned to do.

"I knew what I did wrong. I knew what I needed to do. I was doing it perfect in practice. It was feeling great in practice. It was just a slip up in my first run. I didn't even think like, 'Oh, what if that happens again?' I was just thinking, 'Land good the trick before it so I can pop back properly'," he continued. "I just didn't do it properly. I did the same thing two times but I wasn't like dwelling on that first run. I was trying to refocus, reset through the next run. I knew I still could have made the final if I pulled a good second run."

The co-favorite, Jeanjean, won the inaugural European freestyle BMX Championship as well as French national BMX freestyle gold in 2020.  He again became the French national champion at the event held at the Olympic Park in Montpellier in October 2022 and in November 2022 won the bronze medal at the 2022 UCI Urban Cycling World Championships in the Freestyle BMX.

The value pick is Great Britain's Reilly, who in August 2023 became the World Champion at the Freestyle BMX.  He pays out $430 for every $100 bet to win the Men's BMX freestyle gold.

Hannah Roberts of the USA pays $105 for every $100 bet as the odds-on favorite to win the women's competition.

She is a five time world champion in the UCI Urban Cycling World Championships and silver medalist in freestyle BMX at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Roberts says she is ready to win gold in Paris.

“As for the qualification period, we started that back in November of 2022, so we’ve been trying to get qualified and collecting as many points and doing as many things that could earn Team USA a spot for almost two years now,” Roberts said. “It’s a very very long process, and fortunately Team USA knows that, so we didn’t pick up heavily on training camps and everything like that until this year so we had more time to spend at home with our families.”

Perris Benegas (USA) promises a payout of near $400 for every $100 bet should she win gold.

In 2018, Perris won the gold medal in Freestyle BMX park at the UCI Urban Cycling World Championships in Chengdu, China.  She was named 2020 Bloom BMX Freestyle Rider of the Year.
