Three women are favored to win the Fencing Women Individual Foil at this summer's Olympics.

These are the three forms of Olympic fencing:

Foil — a light thrusting weapon; the valid target is restricted to the torso; double touches are not allowed.
Épée — a heavy thrusting weapon; the valid target area covers the entire body; double touches are allowed.
Sabre — a light cutting and thrusting weapon; the valid target area includes almost everything above the waist (excluding the back of the head and the hands); double touches are not allowed.

Arianna Errigo (ITA) comes in at +220 odds for a payout potential of $220 on every $100 bet.

A three-time Olympian, Errigo is a nine-time team European champion as well.  Additionally, she is a two-time individual European champion, six-time team world champion, and two-time individual world champion. Known for her aggressive and fast fencing, she is regarded as one of the greatest fencers of all time.

Lee Kiefer (USA) also comes in at +220 odds.

Kiefer is a four-time NCAA champion, twelve-time team Pan American champion, thirteen-time individual Pan American champion, and 2018 team world champion.

A three-time Olympian, Kiefer is a 2020 individual Olympic champion. Kiefer is the first American foil fencer in history to win an individual Olympic gold medal.

Alice Volpi (ITA) comes in at +240 odds.

She is a two-time team European champion, 2017 team world champion, 2018 and 2023 individual world champion, and 2020 team Olympic bronze medalist.
