Marco Odermatt (SUI) pays $220 on a $100 bet should he win the gold in the Men's Alpine Downhill early Saturday morning. while Franjo Von Allmen (SUI) pays out $230 for every $100 bet. All wagers must be placed by 5:30 am ET.
Unlike slalom or giant slalom, the downhill prioritizes maximum speed over technical turning.
Odermatt is a Swiss World Cup alpine ski racer who races in giant slalom, super-G and downhill. In addition to the World Cup, Odermatt has competed for Switzerland at two Junior World Championships, three World Championships, and the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Von Allmen is a Swiss World Cup alpine ski racer who competes in the speed disciplines of downhill and super-G.
