William Dandjinou (CAN) is the -105 favorite to win Thursday's Short Track Speed Skating Men's 1000m Final A at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Dandjinou is a four-time world champion winning gold in the 1,000 m at the 2024 world championships and winning three golds at the 2025 world championships, where he repeated as the 1,500 m champion and won two more golds in the men's and mixed relays. Dandjinou is noted for being "unusually tall for a short-tracker" measuring 6-foot-3 without skates, considerably above the 5-foot-9 height he considers ideal for the sport.

Other payout potentials include Jens Van't Wout (NED) promising $270 for every $100 bet to win gold and Pietro Sighel (ITA) offering $500 for every $100 bet.
