What is Baccarat
Baccarat is a six deck card game dealt from a shoe of shuffled cards. It has three betting options: Banker, Player, Tie. The aim of the game is to obtain a 9, natural or on the second hand. Two cards are handed to both the Player and Banker with their totals being added and then subtracted by 10 to reveal their first hand value. ‘Face’ cards, such as Kings and Jacks, represent as zeroes. If either first hand value is not 8 or 9 then a third card is drawn.
Baccarat Basics
So you can bet on one of two hands: The players or bankers.
Two cards are dealt to both the Player and the Banker. A player or casino operator holding the shoe slides one card out and places it face up in the Player's box on the felt table. The first card of the Banker hand is then placed in the Banker's box on the table. Another Player card is dealt, then the Banker card. The dealer's first round consists of two cards for both the Player and Banker.
Tens and face cards - Zero points, ; all other cards are worth their face value, with the ace worth one point. If a total is more than 10, the second digit is the value of the hand. A good example would be if a 9 and 6 are presented. The total would be 15. Your bet needs to be on the hand that totals closest to the number 9.
If the first two cards dealt are 8 or 9 it’s game over. This is a “natural win”. Bets are then cashed out.
The Player card is dealt first and he or she stands on totals of 6 or 7. On any other total, 0-5, the Player draws a third card, unless the banker has 8 or 9, in which case the bank hand wins with no further draw. Once again, if the player has 8 or 9 he or she will get no additional cards.
A player who stands (draws no new cards), the Banker draws with a hand total of 0-5 and stays pat with a hand total of 6 or 7, this will result in all subsequent hands being dependent on the third card the Player draws:
◦ Player draws the 9, 10, face-card or Ace, the Banker draws when he has a 0-3, and stays with a 4-7.
◦ If the Player’s third card is 8, the Banker draws when he has a 0-2, and stays with a 3-7.
◦ If the Player’s third card is 6 or 7, the Banker draws when he has a 0-6, and stays with a 7.
◦ If the Player’s third card is 4 or 5, the Banker draws when he has a 0-5, and stays with a 6-7.
◦ If the Player’s third card is 2 or 3, the Banker draws when he has a 0-4, and stays with a 5-7.
The winning hand is the one closest to the number 9.

Baccarat Strategy

-If the Bankers cards value to 6 and the Players second set values to either 6 or 7, the Banker is dealt a third card.
If the Player receives cards to the value of 6 or higher on their first two cards, then they Stand and are not dealt a third card.

More Advanced Strategy
***1-3-2-6 Strategy~
The idea behind this is similar to progressive betting on a single odds, however you are moving back to the first number on every loss of the four progressive bets, allowing you to take home considerable profit in the right environment. The progression itself, goes from a low number of 1, to a higher number 3, followed by another lower number of 2, and finally a preceding bet amount of 6.
If your bet results in a win, progress along the 1-3-2-6 sequence, if you lose, return back to 1 until you strike a win, then progress.
You start on a bet of 1, if you win, you progress to a bet amount of 3, if you lose, you return back to a bet of 1, if you had won, go then for a bet of 2, if you nail another win, move to a bet amount of 6, win that and you have made a good profit, then return back to the starting position of 1.
IF: The first bet loses, your loss is 1 unit.
IF: The the second bet loses, your loss is 2 units.
IF: The third bet loses, you still make a profit of 2 units.
IF: The fourth loses, you break even.
IF: The fourth wins, your overall profit is 12 units.
If you prefer to bet with a greater amount of units, we would suggest using the 1-3-2-6 Strategy as each number in the progressive bet sequence as a multiple. For instance, if your bet was $5, your 3rd bet (2) is $10, and your 4th bet (6) is $30.
***Your A-game WILL NOT be formed through keeping track in baccarat!~
It is the general understanding that you can keep track in baccarat – mostly due to physical casinos providing the players with score cards to do exactly that! – And turn your game around because you are going to spot a pattern that will help you score big… Here is a little secret, keeping score in baccarat and seeking a pattern is the worst thing you can do! The 1-3-2-4 stratagy is very similar to the 1-3-2-6 strategy above, however it involves much less risk, with this betting strategy, as long as you win twice, your third and 4th bet doesn’t matter you are still going to come out profitable.
Much the same as the previous strategy, you begin with a bet of 1, if you win, you progress to 3, if you lose, you start back at 1, if you had won, continue with a bet of 2, win that and finally, place a final progressive bet of 4, before returning to the starting position of 1 regardless of the outcome
IF: The first bet loses, your loss is 1 unit.
IF: The the second bet loses, your loss is 2 units.
IF: The third bet loses, you still make a profit of 2 units.
IF: The fourth loses, you make 2 units.
IF: The fourth wins, your overall profit is 10 units.
This strategy involves less risk, with profits even if you loose on the final number of the sequence.
