Place Hockey Bets Online at the Prudential Center in Newark

The legal sports betting scene in New Jersey is evolving faster than anyone could have imagined as sportsbooks are making their way into venues other than casinos and racetracks.

Darren Rovell of ESPN tweeted out Thursday:

JUST IN: @WilliamHillUS signs sponsorship deal with @NJDevils. Prudential Center will have lounge that looks like a sports book, with TVs and odds boards. No kiosks or windows allowed, but live bets can be made through company’s mobile app.

Right, it's not a sportsbook per se, but the next best thing to it.  Think of the Prudential Center concept as a sort of virtual sportsbook.
