San Jose, Costa Rica – Another installment of The Cage is in the books and this week’s time-based cash game saw six winners walk away with over $4,000. TerryRash left The Cage with the top prize of $5,232, but second place winner pas2h0ff wasn’t far behind with $5,133. A total of 16 players walked away with a piece of the $46,000 prize pool. Great prizes to the top 5 and a great number of "in the money" players is getting to be the standard.

“The great thing about The Cage is that we often end up with a lot of big winners and last night was no different,” stated Michael Harris, spokesperson for Americas Cardroom. "Looking at the top six or so finishers, you might as well assume that each and every one of them was the top winner. That’s how rewarding The Cage is and that’s why it’s so popular."

The Cage is Americas Cardroom’s signature 4-hour game that combines the best of tournaments and cash games into one extraordinary event. The end goal of The Cage is to survive the four hours with chips still in hand.

Players who bought into The Cage last night for $1,050 were handed 1,000 in chips, with each chip having an actual cash value. Those who lost their chips were removed from The Cage with no opportunity to buy back in. Blinds and antes increased every hour and those who were left standing at the end of the four hours received cash for their remaining chip stack.

Last week, 10 players emerged from The Cage with more than $2,000. This week, we’re up to 11.  The top winner in yesterday’s match was TerryRash, who emerged from The Cage with $5,232. Rounding out the top-5 were pas2h0ff ($5,133), ctraltdegen11 ($4,555), JammyJenny ($4,412) and BTCBlade ($4,245).

There’s another installment of The Cage scheduled for Wednesday, November 18th at 7pm ET. Players can register now for $1,000+50 or find a low buy-in satellite for much less.

More details on The $1k Cage and other great promos can be found at Americas Cardroom.
