2012 WSOP Event 2 No Limit Hold’em Will Pay $517,725 to Lucky Winner
Whoever wins the 2012 World Series of Poker Event #2 No Limit Hold’em will walk away with a gold bracelet plus $517,725. This year’s WSOP opened on Monday and will continue straight through January, culminating with the Main Event and determination of the nine finalists. The final table will return in November.
$1,500 NLHE Final Numbers & Payouts: 2,101 total players, 216 spots cash.
This event kicked off Monday May 28.
Going strong early and ranking among the top 10 chip leaders were the likes of big name poker pros Layne Flack, the current chip leader as this goes to press, Gavin Smith, Vanessa Rousso and Jean-Robert Bellande.
This year, the World Series of Poker will host a never-before-seen $1 million buy-in tournament this year expected to generate the biggest top prize in poker history at more than $12 million. Nearly 40 players have already entered.
The charity-focused Big One for One Drop starts July 1 in Las Vegas. The final table will air live on ESPN.
