Americas Cardroom $500,000 MOSS II Poker Series Kicks Off

Valentine's Day might be over, but Americas Cardroom is giving poker players 500,000 big reasons to love them—for the remainder of the month. The wildly successful Mini Online Super Series kicks off today, featuring a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool spread out over 100 events. Buy-ins for MOSS II start at just $2+0.20. On Sunday there will be a $75,000 guaranteed on the table in a $100+9 event.

"There's nothing small about our second Mini Online Super Series," said Americas Cardroom spokesperson Michael Harris. "While MOSS II features buy-in much smaller than what we saw in last month's OSS II, we're expecting to see incredibly impressive prize pools that will surpass what we're guaranteeing. We have tens of thousands on the table all day Friday and Saturday. And on Sunday, we're guaranteeing over $100,000, including $75,000 in a single event at 7:30pm ET. This is big."

From February 15th through 24th, Americas Cardroom is guaranteeing over $520,000 in 100 events spread out over 10 days. The series includes 90 Hold'em events and 10 Omaha events. The MOSS II scheduled features 10 events each day, running from 10am ET through 10pm ET.

Guarantees in MOSS II range from $300 all the way up to $100,000. Buy-ins come in as low as $2+0.20, well below the buy-ins of what was required in OSS II, Americas Cardroom's Online Super Series that wrapped up late last month. For the larger series, Americas Cardroom had originally guaranteed $1,088,000 through 82 separate online poker tournaments. But thanks to an overwhelming response, the final total prize pool rocketed to $1,308,702.49.

The MOSS II series also includes a leaderboard competition that tracks every player's results over the course of the series. By ranking on the leaderboard, poker players can earn tournament entries to a number of nightly events, plus a seat in the next OSS III $200+15 tournament.

Online poker players who are looking to get into MOSS II for free can take advantage of a limited-time promotion. Any player who makes a deposit to their Americas Cardroom account in February is automatically entered into a $2,500 freeroll that guarantees 25 seats in the MOSS II $100k GTD event. There are two freerolls left, and depositors will earn seats in all the freerolls that remain after their deposit date. The next freeroll kicks off on February 17th.
