The industry's top Sit & Go points race is getting a serious injection of cash once again. Americas Cardroom today announced Sit & Crush Reloaded, a 90-day promo that will see an extra $2,500 in cash added to each weekly Sit & Crush leaderboard for a total of $32,500 in extra money.
"Last night we saw another successful high-stakes cash game in The Cage and we want to continue delivering more good news to our players. Over the course of the next 90 days we will be increasing the weekly leaderboard payouts for our Sit & Crush promotion with $2,500 in cash", stated Americas Cardroom spokesperson Michael Harris.
The Cage
Last night Americas Cardroom hosted the second edition of The Cage, a popular high-stakes cash game with a tournament format. The prize pool reached $125,000 with 25 players that either qualified through satellites or direct bought in for $5,100.
The Cage surpassed all expectations again with only 9 players in the money this time. Player YoSoyFiesta accumulated the most chips and took home a cash prize of $39,691. In second place raycab was also able to crush the tables and pocketed a $33,076 pay day.
Players Euclidean ($14,335), MoodyAlchemist ($9,987), Tilt-A-Whirl ($9,526), Madam Truffle ($6,972), hckyplr20 ($6,141), Leatherass9 ($3,086) and PumpkinTits ($2,186) also collected cash when the clock counted down to zero.
On November 26th at 8:00pm ET, Americas Cardroom will be hosting the first PLO version of The Cage. The same $5,000+$100 buy-in will apply and satellites from as low as $1.65 will be qualifying players daily to the event.
Sit & Crush Reloaded
With Sit & Crush Reloaded, Americas Cardroom will top up the Sit & Crush leaderboard with $2,5000 in extra cash each week from November 15th through February 13th. The money is paid on top of the weekly leaderboard payout schedule, which varies based on how much money is contributed to the leaderboard.
To be eligible for the cash, players simply need to play as normal. To rank faster, Americas Cardroom players are invited to play certain Sit & Go's with $30 buy-ins or less and earn extra points. Players will earn 2x points for regular Sit & Go's, 1.5x points for Turbo & Hyper Sit & Go's, and 4x points in On-Demand tourneys. Americas Cardroom is also offering 2x points during select hours with Happy Hours.
With the new promotions and the December 14th Winning Millions event, ACR has an action packed holiday season lined up for its players.
