Antonio Esfandiari, Sam Trickett 2-1 Favorites to Win Big One For One Drop
Antonio Esfandiari and British poker star Sam Trickett have been made 2-1 co-favorites to win the first ever Big One For One Drop tournament at this year’s World Series of Poker.
Ladbrokes has released odds to win the World Series of Poker Big One For One Drop 2012 now that the final table has been determined. Ladbrokes does not accept customers from the US at this time unfortunately, but those around the world can take advantage of these odds appearing below.
The $1 million buy-in will reward the biggest cash prize ever in the history of live poker tournaments, $18.3 million and some change.
Esfandiari is the Iranian-born poker pro known for his elaborate chip tricks. He has amassed winnings of more than $4.5 million in live tournaments to date. Esfandiari has one bracelet and 14 money finishes at varying World Series of Poker events over the years.
Trickett comes to us from East Retford, United Kingdom. He started playing poker in 2005 after suffering a knee injury that ended his career as a professional football player with Hartlepool.
Trickett, who is considered to be one of the best UK high stakes cash games players, will likely have a significant following from his native Great Britain tuning in to see if he can win his first ever WSOP bracelet and that massive amount of money.
He has won $6,501,852 in live tournaments to date.
The Big One For One Drop tournament will be broadcast live on ESPN starting at 3 pm ET.
