Billionaire Businessman Eugenio Mattar Leads PCA Main Event 2015: 24 Players Left
Billionaire businessman Eugenio Mattar is leading the final 24 going in to Day 5 of the PCA Main Event. The 62-year-old, who is CEO of Brazilian firm Localiza Rent a Car, one of the largest car rental companies in the world, has 2,673,000. American pro Chance Kornuth is currently second with 2,026,000.
#GORONALDOPCA The sensational story of Day 4 however was - without a doubt - the incredible deep run by Brazilian football legend Ronaldo. He outlasted some of the biggest names in poker to make it to 26th place and a $42,180 payday. It was by far his biggest cash in a major poker tournament, and was also the best result achieved by any sport star at the PCA. The #GoRonaldoPCA hashtag was trending worldwide by the time he bust. Afterwards the 38-year-old Team PokerStars SportStar said: "It was an amazing experience and an honour to participate. I had a lot of fun. To be sure I will be here next year."
