Cake Poker Network Sweet Success for Doyle’s Room
Having finally made the transition to the popular Cake Poker Network last week, representatives from Doylesroom.com acknowledged Tuesday the future looks brighter than ever for their online poker room.
"Things are really looking great for us since moving over to Cake," a spokesperson for DoylesRoom told Gambling911.com.
Doyles Room made the move after its previous poker network, Microgaming, decided to bail out of the U.S. market altogether. Microgaming stopped taking bets from certain U.S. states as well a number of years ago.
The Cake Poker Network continued to hold onto the #9 ranking on PokerSiteScout.com, well ahead of Microgaming and its U.S. rival, Bodog Poker. Cake's 7 day average was within striking distance of the Boss Media brands. Doyles Room is widely expected to help push Cake up the rankings.
Doyles Room is the most successful celebrity-branded online gambling website to date, following in the footsteps of Kenny Rogers, porn star Jenna James and Bubba Smith (now part of Belmont.com). The face of the Internet poker room is Doyle Brunson, an iconic American poker player known as the "Texas Dolly". He was ranked as Gambling911.com Jenny Woo's Sexiest Poker Player of 2008 and is the first two-time World Series of Poker main event champion to win consecutively. Doyle Brunson is also a Poker Hall of Fame inductee.
But joining the Cake Network may have its down side as well. Doyle will have to compete with the world famous CAKE GIRL on the pages of Gambling911. It's Legend vs. Buxom Beauty!
