Cereus Poker Network Holds Off Competition

The Cereus Poker Network, which includes UltimateBet.com and Absolute Poker, clings on for dear life to the number 5 spot of most trafficked "real cash" online poker rooms.  Just how tight is the competition?

Extremely tight!  Get this:  The 7 day average number of "real cash" players at Cereus was a mere 50 more than OnGame and 250 more than Everest Poker.

PartyGaming, which sits in the number 4 spot, enjoys a pretty substantial cushion.  They averaged 4900 "real cash" players this past week and that is nearly double that of Cereus.

Interestingly enough there is some potential competition for the number 3 spot as Party enjoyed just 600 fewer "real cash" players than the iPoker network.

Another interesting development:  PokerStars (at number one) has long enjoyed more than double the traffic of Full Tilt Poker (at number two).  Full Tilt now only needs 10,000 more "real cash" players to catch up.  That may sound like a lot but PokerStars, with 25600 average "real cash" players no longer has double the number of Full Tilt with its 15600 average "real cash" poker players.
