The Action Poker Network has been sold and rebranded as Chico Poker.  The Seychelles-based Julian International Holdings Limited took over the Action brands, which included TigerGaming.com, PokerInCanada.com and PayNoRake.com

Playsafe stated that its ActionPoker.com and ActionPokerNetwork.com domains were not part of the deal while it is now set to focus entirely on its software business and ‘the development of a scalable, robust business-to-business delivery platform for online poker operators’.

Julian International Holdings will upon conclusion of the deal assume all responsibility for player liabilities.  That is seen as a good thing considering many players have complained of The Action Poker Network slow paying over the past several months despite having no interests in the US market place, where the payment processing business is thin.

PokerScout.com began listing the Chico Poker Network as available to US players, though some sites like TigerGaming.com still say the website is unavailable to US customers for real money play.
