Customers Will Sadly Get Little in Any Full Tilt Poker Deal
Whether an acquisition or a U.S. Government deal, Full Tilt Poker customers stand a very slight chance at this point of receiving their entire funds from the beleaguered online poker company, assuming history is a parameter.
While it is true that customers of the online gambling payment firm Neteller ultimately received all their monies months after its owners were arrested in 2007, the same did not hold true for customers of BetOnSports.
That company was shut down in the summer of 2006 after indictments were handed down against nearly a dozen executives including the founder and CEO.
Five years later, customers who filed complaints as instructed finally received their funds back. Unfortunately, this amount was only 3 to 5 cents on the dollar.
We can only hope things turn out differently for customers of Full Tilt Poker, however, that company’s track record since indictments were initially handed down against company officials on April 15 has been irreprehensible. U.S. players have yet to see a dime of their monies since that date.
