2009 World Series of Poker Main Event runner up Darvin Moon has lashed out at former Epic Poker Chairman Jeffrey Pollack, accusing him of “f***ing up “ the Heartland Poker Tour, one of Epic’s only successful assets.

Epic, which purchased the Heartland Poker Tour immediately following its formation last year, entered into bankruptcy just a few months later.  Moon has served as the HPT ambassador.

“The whole crew were like a big family and Jeffery (Pollack) had to go and f***ed it all up for them,” Moon said.  “He’s a douchbag but that’s a part of life.”

Pinnacle Entertainment recently purchased Epic Poker parent company, Federated Sports + Entertainment,  in addition to the Heartland Poker Tour.

Annie Duke, whose brother is accused ponzi schemer Howard Lederer, served as Epic Poker’s Commissioner.

Despite the league's complete financial collapse, Duke reportedly has requested substantial back payment of salary. Her appearances at the 2012 World Series of Poker have also been met with scorn, including one well known player telling her she is “a disgrace to the poker community”.
