Eugene Katchalov Takes Over Top Spot of Bluff Poker Player Power Rankings (Video)
Eugene Katchalov now ranks number one atop the Bluff Magazine Poker Rankings after capturing the number 3 finish at this year’s EPT Barcelona. The new power rankings were available as of October 1, 2011.
Katchalov replaces Jason Mercier, for whom Bluff says some of his older results are no longer relevant.
The Ukraine-born, Brooklyn-raised 30-year-old Katchalov has cashed out at 11 live poker events thus far in 2011 alone and has nearly $7 million in lifetime winnings.
These include a $451,872 takeaway at the EPT Barcelona event and a 1st place finish in the 7 Card Stud event of this year’s World Series of Poker.
Below are your Top 20 Bluff Magazine Poker Player Rankings and a video interview with Eugene Katchalov from CardPlayer.com, which unfortunately was presented by now defunct online poker room, Full Tilt Poker. Still a good interview worth watching:
