First Ever Stake Poker Night to Be Held at Hustler Casino Live

The first ever Stake Poker Night will take place this coming Friday, Dec 6 — exclusively on Kick Gaming.

HUSTLER Casino Live is a full-scale, high-value production. Close to a million dollars was spent transforming the casino’s high-limit poker room, the Crystal Room, into the set of this new state-of-the-art live show. HUSTLER Casino Live is not a traditional livestream poker show; it will look more like coverage of a TV broadcast sporting event and appeal to those beyond the gaming community. Unscripted and unedited, viewers can expect the biggest names in poker, along with many surprise guests, to be seated at the HUSTLER table. All players will be personally hand-picked and invited by the hosts—ensuring colorful characters, lively games, risky bets, and high stakes. In addition, some of the biggest names in poker will be a part of the lineup of guest commentators, including Norman Chad, Bart Hanson, David Tuchman and more.

“We have thought about producing a high-quality all cash poker livestream for several years but were waiting for the right opportunity. The stars aligned when we began discussions with Ryan Feldman and Nick Vertucci. They  share our goal of providing a top-quality product for poker fans around the globe. Mr. Flynt spared no expense with this project; in fact, it was the last one he approved—he would be so proud of HUSTLER Casino Live,” said Shaun Yaple, HUSTLER Casino General Manager.

Stake is an Australian-Curaçaoan online casino operated by Medium Rare NV, a company incorporated in Curaçao that holds an online casino licence. Stake is a global company with offices in Serbia, Australia, Cyprus and staff globally.

Robber Quickly Spent Ill-Gotten Funds at Video Poker Machines

A 59-year-old serial bank robber was sentenced Monday to more than 11 years in prison after pleading guilty to three bank robberies and one attempted robbery iwhile he was on federal supervised release.

Moore committed three bank robberies and one attempted bank robbery during an 18-day span in late 2023, according to Assistant U.S. Attorney Leah Bolstad. This one was at IQ Credit Union in Happy Valley on Nov. 17, 2023.

Moore (pictured below robbing one bank) used the stolen funds to play in video poker machines, police later revealed.

"Video poker machines -- as fast as I could put it in,” Moore responded when asked where the stolen money ultimately ended up.

Tournaments

Late last week, poker pro Daniel Negreanu confirmed he will be taking part in the upcoming $500K Triton Invitational Poker event.

"If you happen to be a wealthy businessman looking to play the $500k buy in event at WSOP Paradise and are looking for a pro partner."

The Triton Million stands as the ultimate poker contest – a combined $1,000,000 NLH buy-in event that attracts a mix of elite invitees and the world’s top poker pros, all competing for a massive prize pool, a prestigious WSOP bracelet, and the iconic Triton trophy.

Returning for its second edition, inspired by the historic 2019 event in London, the tournament begins with invitees and pros competing separately for the first eight levels.

After that, the two groups collide in a thrilling contest to crown the champion.

This exclusive event is set to begin on December 7th, 2024, at the Atlantis, Bahamas, as part of the WSOP Bahamas series, concluding on December 9th, 2024.

WSOP Tightens the Rules: Major Electronic Device Policy Changes Announced Ahead of WSOP Paradise

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is introducing sweeping new rules on the use of electronic devices and rail coaching ahead of the upcoming WSOP Paradise 2024 event at the Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. These changes come after the controversial “Laptop-Gate” incident that marred this summer’s WSOP Main Event.

From Poker Gurus:

This summer’s WSOP Main Event saw Jonathan Tamayo claim the World Championship title and a life-changing $10 Million in Las Vegas, but his victory was marred by controversy. The poker community was thrown into turmoil when Tamayo faced accusations of receiving real-time assistance (RTA) from his rail, which included poker pros Joe McKeehen and Dominik Nitsche.

These are the new rules:

  • Ban on Electronic Assistance and Coaching: Players and spectators are prohibited from using electronic tools, including charts, apps, or solvers, within the tournament room. Spectators caught providing live coaching or assistance will be removed, and players may face penalties up to disqualification.
  • Device Restrictions in the Final Stages: Once a tournament reaches its final three tables, all electronic devices will be banned from the tables and the rails. Players can only access their devices during breaks or after elimination. Spectators are also prohibited from viewing delayed live streams or using any form of electronic assistance.
  • Phone Etiquette: No devices may be placed on tables or table rails. Phones must be silenced, and communication is restricted to non-players during active hands.
