Five DoylesRoom.com Players Battle for Top Prize in WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic
Five DoylesRoom players will take a seat at the Bellagio today and do the Godfather of Poker proud in the tournament named in his honor. Brunson 10 pros Alex Kamberis, Amit Makhija, Zach Clark, Dani Stern and Steve Gross are playing in the WPT Doyle Brunson 5 Diamond Poker Classic today in Las Vegas. Together, the online poker pros, who represent DoylesRoom.com, have earned over $1 million in WPT tournaments.
Alex Kamberis is looking to add to his WPT Career earnings of $80,425. He’s cashed in two WPT events so far. Amit Makhija enters the event with five cashes under his belt and WPT career earnings totaling close to $640,000. Zach Clark has played in 14 WPT tournaments, made one final table and earned $281,645. Both Dani Stern and Steve Gross are aiming for their first WPT cash.
The WPT Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic begins today at the Bellagio in Las Vegas at 12pm. While the total number of entrants for the $10,000+300 tournament has yet to be finalized, last year’s tournament included 329 players battling for $4.7 million in prize money.
