Full Cash Games Confirmed at European Poker Tour Grand Final
Edgar Stuchly, President of the European Poker Tour, has confirmed a full slate of cash games at this year’s EPT Grand Final (2013)…..
Today I’m happy to confirm that this year’s PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino European Poker Tour Grand Final will be the largest festival of cash games in the tour’s history.
Yes, cash games.
Certainly, we will have our full slate of championship tournaments. Yes, we’ll have side events and Sit & Gos. But this year, we’re happy to feature cash games as part of our official festival schedule.
If you have spent any time on the EPT, you might have seen cash games in the past. But you’ve never seen them like this. At the Grand Final, the cash games will be ours. That means we’re spreading the games we want to spread. We’re offering stakes from €2/€5 up to €1,000/€2000. We will have a dedicated high stakes host for the nosebleed players. We’ve limited the rake to 3% and put rake caps on each game. For €2/€5 games, the rake will be capped at €15. The €5/€10 and €10/€20 games are capped at €20. All bigger games will be capped at €25.
That’s not all. When I say these games will be ours, I mean it. Our professional EPT dealers will be pitching the cards. We’ll have Hold’em, Omaha, Omaha 8, Stud, Razz, Stud 8, Draw, 2-7, Badugi, Badeucey, Badacey, Chinese, Open Face Chinese and more. We’ll spread them all over 35 tables from 12pm to 6am. Plus, we’ll be using shuffle machines to make the experience even better as we will be able to deal more hands per hour.
While we’ve got that plan in place, don’t consider those guidelines to be the beginning and end of what we’ll offer. I’ll be standing by for your requests for different games, mixes, and limits. In short, we want to make this cash game festival what you want it to be, and I’m looking forward to working with you to make it happen.
The EPT Grand Final runs May 6-15 at the Monte Carlo Bay hotel in Monaco. For full information, visit the EPT website. http://www.europeanpokertour.com/.
